The seafront Aragonese Castle on its rocky islet, the spa gardens of Negombo and Poseidon, and the fishing village of Sant'Angelo are all close by. Boat trips circle the island's coves, beaches, and sea grottoes. Ferries cross the bay to Naples and to neighbouring Procida and Capri, while Vesuvius, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast lie a little further along the bay's mainland shore. Lemon groves and terraced vineyards climb the slopes of Monte Epomeo above.
